  • Ice Dragons Challenge Announced

  • Festival Endorsed by Canadian Cancer Society

    On Thursday,  February 9th of 2017 the IBWDB Foundation received new of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Breast Cancer cause was endorsing the July 8th Festival.  The collaboration will set the stage for the focused fundraising of the festival to fight Breast Cancer for this and in the coming years.   Read More...

  • Donation Given to Art Therapy Program

  • Ice Box Days

    This past weekend our Foundation President, Greg Thorstad, and Head Coach, Annely Armstrong-Thorstad represented or group in the Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run in International Falls, MN during their Ice Box Days.Coaches and members of the club also had a great time talking with everyone and spreading the "dragon love" to the 300+ attendees at the CWAC Health & Wellness Expo there.   We had a lot of interest including from this guy - the Ice Box Days Voyageur mascot!     Read More...

  • Dragons to Sunny Cove

    What a fun and exciting night with the 65+ kids from the United Church Sunny Cove Camp.  Some of the IBWDB Team paddlers took the boats, equipment trailer, trophies and medals, and of course Guoji to the camp for a really awesome night on the water.It rained, we had double rainbows, a great Chinese inspired dinner, baby ducks visiting, a water slide and so very much fun taking the groups of kids and councillors out on the water.We really are going to have to do this again.  Paddles up ...  Read More...
